Data we collect

We run privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics only. Plausible Analytics records aggregate page views, referrers and outbound link clicks; it sets no cookies, stores no personal data and never fingerprints or tracks you across sites. Cloudflare Web Analytics runs alongside it and is likewise cookie-free and free of personal data. No advertising cookies are set, no user profiles are built and no personal data is sold. Because no cookies or similar identifiers are used, no consent banner is required under the GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive.

Server logs required to deliver the site (IP address, user agent, timestamp) are processed by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting and are retained for a short period only. vidbenchmark.com is operated by Filedesign Informatik GmbH, Switzerland, which acts as data controller.

Legal basis (GDPR)

Aggregate analytics are processed under our legitimate interest in understanding site usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you contact us by email, we process that message to reply to you and keep it no longer than needed.

Affiliate links

Provider buttons are affiliate links. When you follow one, the provider may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregate conversion counts.

Your rights
